Doesn’t it?

Make Money Fast - Legitimately

This is Day 1 of 30 Money & Life Hack: 5 Simple Steps to Make Money Fast (Legitimately)

Back in the day….many people struggled to make ends meet.

It was the ones that got down and dirty, rolled up their sleeves and got creative that made the most money and the fastest.

This blog is about how to Make Money Fast (Legitimately) in 5 simple steps.  I also am staying away with online making money in this blog because I think we are all caught up in making money online when really, there is money to be had right under our nose first.

1. HAVE A PLAN AND A DEADLINE

The first thing you need to do is have a PLAN.  I know sounds crazy simple but it is true.

You need to start with the end in mind.

How can you know how much to make if you don’t know what you need.

For example, do you need to make $100, $1,000, $10,000 etc.

As part of the plan, the other thing you need to know is by when you need that money.  Put a deadline specific date on when you want to achieve this result.

You will be surprised, once you put a date you will start cracking.  No date = No money, seriously!

So, Step 1 ACTION is decide the magic number of how much money you need make fast to meet your goal.

2. WHAT POSSESSIONS CAN YOU SELL?

One of the quickest way to get cash in your bank is to take a look at and in your home and figure out things you don’t need or things you don’t want and sell them.

Start with bigger items and Electronic items as they will give you the biggest bang for your buck.

Here are some simple examples.

  • Vehicles and Recreational vehicles (Cars, trucks, utility trailer, RV or camping trailers, motor bikes)
  • Electronic equipment (computers, tablets, televisions, speakers, etc.)
    Smartphones[2][3]
  • Furniture
  • CDs
  • DVDs
  • Books
  • Musical instruments
  • Collectible toys
  • Video games
  • Jewelry
  • Crafts

Step 2 ACTION is to go around your house, yard and your storage facilities and figure out all the items that you don’t need, have not used for years or no longer serves you that you can sell to make some quick cash.

3. HOW TO SELL THE ITEMS

The next thing is to figure out how to sell your items the cheapest and most inexpensive way possible.

This can be offline, online or even in person.

If you are not sure about this look things up on the internet or even simple ask about to family, friends, community groups, church groups if they know any ways.

Some examples are

  • Online (kiji site, craigs list, think of the specific items that)
  • Offline (newspapers, group bazaars or sales, check with local church and community groups, people you know and who they know (friends, families, acquaintances)

Step 3 ACTION figure out how and where you are going to sell the items.  Also determine the price you will sell them for.

4. LOWEST HANGING FRUIT

The fastest and easiest way to make money is to do what you know and what you are good at today, naturally.

Everyone is good at something, so I don’t want to hear “I am not good at anything”.

Figure out what that is and how you can offer your product and services.  You can turn anything into something.

You can also turn anything into a service for helping others.  Let’s your mind roll and be creative.  Anything you can do without money or even any change or education

Here are some examples:

  • An accountant can do bookkeeping, personal taxes, internal control, personal finances, provide consulting, teach people how to do their taxes online…etc.
  • A pet lover can offer to pet sit, walk the dog for someone, run errands for a neighbour.
  • Someone who is very organize can offer to organize people’s businesses, office, home etc.
  • A stay at home mom with 2 kids, can offer to care for a couple of kids.
  • Seriously get creative and lets think people this is so easy its not funny.

Step 4 ACTION decide on what you are good at and know how to do naturally without it even costing you a dime or needing to get educated.

5. BE CREATIVE

So, you have sold items you don’t want and need, and you have tapped into the lowest hanging from on what you know and are good at today.

Now it is time to get creative.

I want you to get a piece of paper and pen, sit down and write down 10 other ways that you can make money right now other than what I mentioned above.

Step 5 ACTION If you were in a do or die situation and you needed to make money fast (legitimately) how you do that? What could you do?
